Wells Family Christmas Eve 2007

Christmas Eve was held at our house this year with the Wells family. We went to church for family worship early afternoon. Cassy loved the kids singing... she shouted "yeah" everytime they we're done singing. We then came home, played on the wii. I caught a pic of Pete holding Casssy. WE are all witnesses.

We then pigged out on turkey and lots of fixin's. Thanks to everyone who brought a dish to share. After dinner, we exchanged gifts with family. It is fun to see the creativity. I think we all enjoyed our gifts. It was fun to see what each of us received. Here are a few pics of the family.

Nice hat Big Al!
Jack loved his hockey jersey.

For Bryan and I, It was really fun to see Cassy opening her gifts this year. She was so excited with the first present opening. She played with each new toy. I don't think she knew what to do with herself. What a fun second Christmas for her. It was a blessed Christmas for all.
I think Jack and Cassy our close buddies.

2007 Lutsen trip with some of the Wells family

We spent another year skiing at Lutsen. One word, GORGEOUS!! Here are some great pics.

We rented a two bedroom condo at Bluefin Bay. Small quarters, but fun. Bryan, Sara, Big Al, and myself spent most of our time skiing the hills during the day. While Stockholm, Tobie, Barb and Cassy stayed back and kept the condo for us.
The Gondola rides were sometimes crazy. What beautiful views.

Who is more weird?
Big Al? Bry?

The sisters together on the chairlift. How adorable?

Cassy found some pots and pans in the kitchen and had some fun. Sara even got into it. What a blast.

We woke up to a major blizzard on our last day. IT was a WHITE-OUT! We could hardly see the car in front of us.

Here is a video of our slow trip home from Lutsen. Sara is the MC, Kelly is the videographer, and Big B is the captain. Baby Cassy and Stockholm are just along for the ride. ENJOY the video below.

Cassy is 16months old!

Cassy is a cruizin. She has now mastered walking and is now trying to run or walk as fast as she can to her destination. She loves to go up and down stairs. WE still keep a close eye on the stairs... she's been known to be a little daring and try forward facing. It has been fun to watch her use the sign language that we have been doing over the past 6months. It has really paid off for certain uses. It makes me feel so good to see her try to speak with her hands. She does the more and eat sign... I think she is working on the all done sign... i think. FUnny what mommy thinks her child is doing.

Her new adventure... trying to stand in her high chair. We need to buckle her in everytime. Otherwise she finds a way to stand up. And she thinks she is "queen bee" or on top or the world.

Christmas time 2007

Its Christmas time again. Time to decorate the real Christmas tree and house. Yeah! I love the smell of a real tree in the house.

We took Cassy to see Santa Claus . She was not a fan of the old guy. We also met up with the Raymond family to walk thru the annual Macy's holiday auditorium show of "Nutcracker" in Minneapolis. Here a few pics from the event.
